Four more publications for CXI group!

Four more publications

It has been a very busy year for our team in the CXI group (https://cxi.byu.edu/) group at BYU. We have had a lot of success with four new papers including:

1) XRD work by former CXI team member Matthew Ricks (now PhD student at Stanford), and collaborators Arianna Gleason, Silvia Pandolfi, and Wendy Mao in Phys. Rev. Research entitled "Phase transition kinetics revealed by in situ x-ray diffraction in laser-heated dynamic diamond anvil cells" (https://lnkd.in/g3DxgVru)

2) Radiation hydrodynamics simulation comparison to our ultrafast x-ray imaging at LCLS of fusion materials with Kelin Kurzer-Ogul, BYU CXI graduate student Daniel Hodge, and many collaborators published in Physics of Plasmas entitled "Radiation and heat transport in divergent shock–bubble interactions" (https://lnkd.in/gJveVzpF)

3) A paper in J. Phys. Chem. Lett. entitled "Extreme Ultraviolet Reflection Spectroscopy of Lanthanides and Actinides Using a High Harmonic Generation Light Source" by LANL collaborators Patrick Skrodzki, Prashant Padmanabhan, and Pamela Bowlan at LANL and BYU CXI PhD student Taylor Buckway (https://lnkd.in/g66h_G2r)

4) Results on x-ray imaging from LCLS published in Nano Letters detailing "Morphology of Copper Nanofoams for Radiation Hydrodynamics and Fusion Applications Investigated by 3D Ptychotomography" led by Adra (Tory) Carr and many collaborators at LANL and SLAC and BYU CXI undergrad student Levi Hancock (https://lnkd.in/gkAbj2Wg)
